Chantel, a customer experience advocate and CRM professional with 13 years’ experience in Digital Marketing, has helped several large and small teams, and brands to understand their customers’ behaviour.

Her digital marketing journey started in 2005 as an Email Marketing Manager for Acceleration. An interest in data analyses and technology ignited her passion for CRM which drove her to join Africa’s leading digital agency, Digitas Liquorice to learn her trade on the CRM team.

Her career highlight so far, a Silver Assegai for CRM technology, was a result of her work as Project Manager at Liquorice to develop and optimise Distell's CRM Program. Building on this experience, Chantel moved on to one of Africa’s leading e-commerce retailers, Zando, as a CRM manager.

As a growth hacker by nature and the current Head of CRM at Travelstart, Chantel loves to challenge the status quo to better understand and deliver to the ever-evolving and all-knowing customers.
